Montana Fishburne is checking herself into an inpatient facility that specializes in anger management, behavioral problems and mental illnesses, according to TMZ.
Reports say the facility is in Southern California and Montana will be there at least 30 days. Sources say part of Montana’s stay will be devoted to anger issues, but she’ll also undergo diagnostic tests to determine if there are underlying behavioral or mental issues.
Montana is currently awaiting trial for allegedly beating up the ex-girlfriend of her current boyfriend.
Sources say Laurence Fishburne is unaware that Montana has decided to seek help.
Even though her famous actor father Laurence Fishburne is embarrassed by her porn career, Montana Fishburne says her mom still loves her, but doesn’t want to see her dragged into the dark side of the porn industry.
When asked about her mother,who has been divorced from Fishburne since Montana was two years old, here’s what she had to say:
“My mom just says, ‘I love you.’ We don’t talk about it every day. She wants me to be happy and doesn’t want me to get dragged into the dark side of porn.” That dark side, Montana says, includes drugs and destructive behavior from “low self-esteem.”
