Glamour Magazine is spilling the goods on all of the top beauty tricks that you absolutely need to know in order to remain chic and stylish in the coming seasons. Check out a few of the top tips below!

Easter egg colors are your friend



We’re loving this cheery remix of the smoky eye. Just swap your charcoal shadow for the grown-up pastels makeup artist Dick Page used on models at Michael Kors. He lined their eyes with black pencil, then added gold shimmer in the inner corners. Next, he applied light blue or purple shadow along the lower curve of the eyes and from the lash line to just above the crease, then smudged, smudged, smudged. He finished with black mascara.

Try a textured mani



Think of your nails as a showpiece accessory (they’re jewelry, but cheaper), and apply a polish with sparkle—like chunky glitter or gold flecks—built in. “It’s all about texture,” manicurist Elle told me at the Reem Acra show. Another way to wear the trend: Try a dark, opaque shade, with a sheer, shimmery layer on top.

At the Tibi show, hairstylists Kevin Ryan and Frank Rizzieri confessed that they used leftover fabric to frame the models’ updos. And at Jason Wu, hair pro Odile Gilbert used sheer black cloth to add drama to the models’ hair. “It’s fresh and spontaneous,” she said. To DIY, twist your hair into a bun, wrap fabric around it and make big loops with the material, pinning them into place as you go.

Vampy lips done right



The super-intense lipstick combo MAC artist Romero Jennings used for the Jason Wu show made me want to take a temporary hiatus from my usual nudes—it’s that gorgeous. First he applied a deep berry matte lipstick with a lip brush to create a base. Then he added a creamy eggplant shade on top, pressing it in with his fingers for a modern, stained effect. You can perfect the line with a cotton swab or a lip brush (no liner needed). As for your eyes, keep them simple like Jennings did. Apply bronzy shadow and brown liner, then curl your lashes. So fresh!

T.I. Makes His First Public Appearance In NYC

T.I. made his first public appearance at his girlfriend’s Tiny’s Alzheimer’s benefit last night in NYC. T.I. No photos were allowed, but someone managed to snap one.

Tiny and Toya had put on a benefit concert last night at Opera in Atlanta, and were taping for their BET reality show “Tiny & Toya” at the same time, and T.I. came out to support his fiance Tameka “Tiny” Cottle. It was actually Clifford’s first public appearance since being released from prison.

“I am very well, very happy to be seen,” is what T.I. had to say as he accompanied Tameka “Tiny” Cottle on stage at the “For The Love Of Our Fathers” fundraiser for Alzheimer research.

Not only did T.I. surprise those in attendance with his appearance, but he also got Tiny a gift. When she left the venue, there was a brand new blue Porsche Panamera with a red bow waiting for her.

Lil Kim’s Fans Get Blasted Over Plastic Surgery Intervention

Lil Kim fans are in an uproar over her plastic surgery and they are OVER their idol!!

Here’s what we found out from the ybf.com:

It all started when the head honchos at the Fan site reached out to Kim’s assistant because of her recent bleached appearance and weird actions. The fans believe Kim is being brainwashed by the people around her. And they got insulted and blasted by Kim’s assistant and crew.

Here’s the email we received:

We all know recently Lil Kim (or Ho Chi Min as you call her lol) has been wearing terrible make up and making bad career choices. So just recently (2-27-10) the fans spoke out on twitter to her assistant and new right-hand man football player Bryant Mckinnie. And they LASHED out at the entire Lil Kim Zone Forum. LilKimZone.Net is the bases of Kim’s hard core fans. We’re not some new fans. We have been holding her down for at least 15 years, and this is the thanks we get? We only expressed how we feel that Kim is the being misled to think she looks ok and it needs to stop. Not only did they get defensive but they got racial, and homophobic.

I send you this email because this needs to be exposed, Kim needs help, this could be the beginning to her intervention. We as the fans honestly believe she is being brain washed, and that she is surrounded by YES men. We dont want her to end up like Michael Jackson or Anna Nicole Smith, because we are lead to believe drugs are involved.

Whitney’s Fans Walk Out Of Concert

After her a concert in Australia on Monday, fans walked out of Whitney Houston’s concert early declaring it a disappointment.

According to perezhilton.com, Whitney only sang two songs before she exited the stage to take a break. She appeared out of breath, coughed through songs and when she returned to sing through six more numbers, she handed the microphone over to her brother Gary to sing.

“She was not fit to perform. She seemed to be on another planet, and the concert was laughable. When the back up singer’s performance is the stand out for the night you know something is wrong,” said a concert goer.

Remember that it’s a process. Like anything, your response to negativity isn’t going to instantly change. Unfortunately, there’s not a switch we can flip to make ourselves less susceptible to bad vibes. But by staying engaged with proactive solutions, our dealing-with-negativity muscles will grow stronger over time.

3 ways to keep your cool around your ex

Place limits. When a co-worker corners you and wants to mouth off about the boss, many of us have a natural desire to be empathic. Empathize with the gripes of your colleague too much, though, and you could feel yourself dragged down by complaints that aren’t even yours. Listen to your co-worker and be polite, but be firm; remind them that you’re busy and only have a few minutes to spare.

Remember what it’s really about. When people lash out at you with a response that is totally disproportionate to the situation, think about where their behavior is coming from. If all you’re doing is ringing up their groceries, chances are it’s not about you. That negativity is an outpouring of what’s going on with them — maybe they hate their job or are dealing with intense stress. Is their behavior appropriate or kind? Absolutely not. But it’s a barometer for the state of their life, and not a reflection of who you are.

Build a protective shield. This suggestion may be a little hippy dippie for some, but give it a whirl. When you are feeling particularly vulnerable and the world feels especially cruel, imagine a protective shield between you and everyone you interact with. It could be a bubble, a white light, or a warm glow, but envisioning a physical barrier surrounding you may help guard your feelings.

Change the subject. When the negativity is coming from your spouse or friend, the situation can be a little trickier. Listen to them, but don't dwell with them. Usually what people want is a sympathetic ear. Provide it, and then gently change the subject to a more neutral topic.

Get active. If your friend or spouse is in a bad mood, talking about things -- whether listening sympathetically or trying to focus on the positive -- can be enormously helpful, but even this approach has its limits. Sometimes the best course of action is action. Plan an expedition to the science museum, a poetry reading, or the movies. Explore a new neighborhood or go to a video arcade. It's harder for your loved ones to stay in a bad mood when you're leading the charge to have fun.

Create your own energy field. Imagine that moods, like water, rise to the highest level. Your positive energy will keep you buoyant and will most likely, in time, rub off on those around you. In the meantime, the less attention you give that energy, the last space it will take up in your head, and the more you can enjoy your life. Whenever you can, elect to watch movies that make you feel good, listen to music that makes you smile, and spend time with people who lift you up.

I thought they made up. Well mediatakeout is reporting that Jadakiss and his goons were ready to put their hands on Diddy but Diddy bounced.

Here’s what happened. Diddy was scheduled to perform at the club. But when his security learned that rival rapper Jadakiss was inside the club, all heck broke loose.
